Holidays: All Inclusive or Full Board
a popular dispute when it comes to holidays, is it better to go a full/half board holidays and eat throughout the day at set times to a limited menu or go All Inclusive Holidays and eat and drink a varied amount without having to pay head over heels for it.
All Inclusive
The Caribbean region is renowned for it all inclusive resorts, my article is based types of resort I went to on my Antigua Holidays
Pros
- food and drink is in unlimited amounts also at Breakfast, lunch and dinner specific themed restaurants open for a couple of hours to offer even more variety.
- A large variation of cuisine to choose from, many resorts have Offer a continental range as well as other authentic dishes like Italian, Asian, etc
- No hidden or extra charges on what you have already paid for, as you have already paid for unlimited food and drink.
Cons
the food quality isn’t at the same standard as full board as its cooked to feed larger quantities.
Some of the Restaurants tend to have a waiting list in the evenings.
the price of the holiday may be more expensive overall depending on the quality of the hotel and resort.
Full or Half Board
The majority of hotels offer this option from cheap weekends away in turkey to Exotic and bountiful Thailand Holidays
Pros
- The quality of the food tends to be much better as your dish will be prepared specifically for you.
- prices vary and are possibly cheaper depends on the standard of the resort
Cons
- Food and drink is only offered at certain times throughout the day unless your willing to pay extra.
- alcoholic drinks can be very expensive especially for branded names
- there isn’t a large choice of food as you will have to select from a menu or a limited buffet.
Both Holiday types have their pros and cons, whatever type of resort you choose from depends on what you’re looking to get out of your holiday and how much you’re willing to spend.
